Last date of admission in Technical Institutions

CHANDIGARH, AUG 4
 In Haryana, the last date for admission in all Technical Institutions, Universities and Polytechnics will be August 15, 2017 for the session 2017-18. After this, no admission will be considered valid.
          While stating this here today, a spokesman of Haryana State Technical Education Society said that all admission in these courses have to be, in all circumstances and without any exception, completed upto August 15,2017 and no admission is permissible after the said date in any circumstances whatsoever. Any admission taken or made after the cut-off date shall be invalid and shall stand cancelled automatically.
          He said that to avoid any complications all the institutes, Universities and Polytechnics were directed to verify the eligibility criteria or credentials of the each candidate at the time of reporting for admission. He said that the institutions making admission after the cut-off date shall alone be liable for appropriate penal action under the provisions of “The Haryana Private Technical Educational Institution (Regulation of Admission and Fee) Act, 2012 (Haryana Act No. 18 of 2012)”.
ADDITIONAL CHARGE: The Haryana government has ordered that Mr Pankaj, IAS, Director and Special Secretary, Skill Development and Industrial Training Department will also look after the work of Mission Director, Haryana Skill Development Mission, in addition.
CAESAREAN DELIVERY FACILITIES: Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij said that facility of Caesarean delivery has been launched in sub-divisional level government hospital, Naraingarh in district Ambala. 
          Mission Director, National Health Mission, Mrs Amneet P Kumar today visited the hospital and reviewed all the facilities there.  She said that assistance of Gynecologists of the District Civil Hospital would be taken for the arranging proper facilities in the hospital. This would reduce the burden of delivery on Ambala district hospital and women would get the caesarean facility near their homes.
          She said that initially this facility would be made available on every Thursday. On the first day, caesarean deliveries of two pregnant women have been carried out in this hospital and both the mothers and infants are healthy. She also congratulated the team of doctors and presented gifts to mothers of both families.
