CHANDIGARH, NOV 26
On the occasion of Constitution Day, Haryana Governor, Mr Satyadeo Narain Arya today paid tributes to Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the principal architect of the Constitution of India.
A seminar ‘Revisiting Babasaheb Dr B.R. Ambedkar, Constitution Maker and Nation Builder’ was organised to mark the occasion of Constitution Day, at Raj Bhavan today.
The Governor described the Indian Constitution as the best Constitution of the world and urged all to follow the ideals and values as enshrined in the Constitution. He said that under the able leadership of Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi, the country has been continuously progressing. The day November 26 is celebrated to spread the importance of the constitution and to spread thoughts and ideas of Ambedkar.
Those present in the seminar included Vice Chancellor, Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa, Prof Vijay Kumar Kayat, Vice-Chancellor, Bhagat Phool Singh (BPS) Mahila Vishwavidyalaya, Khanpur Kalan, Prof. Sushma Yadav and Prof. Dipti Chaudhry, Planning department, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra.
