Haryana CM lays foundation stones of 12 projects

CHANDIGARH, FEB 24  
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal today inaugurated one project  and laid the foundation stones of 12 projects   amounting to Rs 452.45 crore for the development of district Mahendragarh. On the occasion, Education and Tourism Minister, Mr. Ram Bilas Sharma raised various demands related to the development of the Mahendragarh Assembly Constituency to which the Chief Minister said that the State Government will make every possible effort to fulfill all possible demands.
        The inauguration and laying of foundation stones of the projects was done in the Vikas Rally organized on the occasion of inauguration of ‘Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna’ at village Khudana, district Mahendragarh.
        In his address, the Chief Minister said that the State Government has carried out equitable development in all areas of the state. In order to provide all types of facilities to the citizens, the State Government has given a steady pace in the order of planned form of development. As a result of various projects, development has been given new direction in district Mahendragarh. The development of IMT (Industrial Model Township) over 960 acres in village Khudana at a cost of Rs. 200 crore will create jobs which will bring economic prosperity in the area. The Canal based water distribution scheme costing Rs 124.43 crore will make available adequate water to 25 villages and 09 dhanis of Satnali block of district Mahendragarh. With the underground pipes irrigation water supply scheme costing Rs. 23.83 crore, water will be available to total nine villages in the district for irrigation purposes.
        Referring to the progress of various development works in the Mahendragarh district area, the Chief Minister said that work of lift irrigation system in the area is on progress at a cost of Rs. 143 crore. Reach of water has been ensured at 92 out of 96 tail end of canals in the district. The construction of the Indo-Israel Center of Excellence for Vegetable at the cost of Rs 10 crore is in progress in Sundrah, Mahendragarh. The construction work of college buildings at villages Unhani and Chilro in Kanina and Nizampur blocks, respectively, at the cost of Rs 12.12 crore, is in the final stages. The construction of Railway Over Bridge at the cost of Rs. 25 crore at Ateli-Behrod road is in the last phase. Similarly, the construction of the building of Industrial Training Institute at Sujapur, costing Rs. 4.47 crore is near completion and classes will be started from the academic session 2019-2020. The bus stand at Satnali has been constructed at a total cost of Rs. 1.64 crore, he added.
        The Chief Minister said that construction work of first medical college of district Mahendragarh will be completed in a period of two years, being set up at a cost of Rs 500 crore over 80 acres. Work of making four-lane two national highways passing through Mahendragarh district has been entrusted to the Central Government. He said that the Central Government will spend Rs. 99 crore and the State Government will spend Rs. 48 crore to develop the historic fort of Mahendergarh as a tourist destination. A war memorial will also be constructed in village Nasirpur, Mahendragarh.
        He said that the foundation stones of different projects laid by Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal included industrial estate to be developed at Khudana village Mahendragarh at a cost of Rs. 200 crore, canal based water distribution scheme at a cost of Rs. 124.43 crore, construction of government houses at a cost of Rs 35.95 crore, underground pipe irrigation water supply scheme costing Rs. 23.83 crore, development works of tourism infrastructure at Madhogarh at a cost of Rs 29.60 crore, construction of sewerage system at Satnali at a cost of Rs 10.60 crore, construction of multipurpose auditorium in government college Ateli at a cost of Rs 6.70 crore, construction of multipurpose auditorium in government college Narnaul at a cost of Rs 5.65 crore, construction of 12 class rooms in government college at Narnaul at a cost of Rs 3.60 crore, construction of fire station at village Chelawas at a cost of Rs 2.34 crore and construction of fire station at village Neerpur at a cost of Rs 2.34 crore. Apart from this, it also included inauguration of 33 KV sub station, Surehti, Jakhal established at a cost of Rs 3.60 crore.
        Others present on the occasion included Member of Parliament (MP), Mr. Dharambir Singh, Deputy Speaker of Haryana Vidhan Sabha, Mrs. Santosh Yadav, MLAs namely Mr. Om Prakash Yadav and Dr. Abhay Singh Yadav, and former MP Mrs. Sudha Yadav, General Manager, Haryana Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation, Mr. Narhari Bangad, General Manager, Haryana Tourism Development Corporation, Mr. Vikas Yadav, Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Garima Mittal and Superintendent of Police, Mr. Chandramohan.
