Haryana Election Department organises special camps

CHANDIGARH, FEB 16
Haryana Election Department has decided  to organise special camps in all the polling stations of the state on  February 23 and 24, 2019 for the convenience of the youth, who have   completed 18 years of age on January 1, 2019 and  those  voters who have been left out for some reason   to apply for voter cards.
Giving details about this, a spokesman of the department said that all Booth Level Officers (BLOs) in the state will be present on February 23 and 24, 2019, at their respective polling station with a copy of the current voter list published on January 31, 2019.  In order to include names of those youth which are missing from the list, BLOs will help them to fill Form 6 and complete all other formalities.
He said that the youth will have to go to his nearest polling station with only two passport size photographs and residential proof   to fill Form No.6. He said that the youth can apply online also by visiting www.nvsp.in and toll-free number 1950 could also be contacted for more information.
NPA REVISED: The Haryana Government has decided to revise the Non Practicing Allowance (NPA) at the rate of 20 per cent of Medical Officer, Assistant Medical Officer, Senior Medical Officer, Dental Surgeon and Director of ESI Health Care Department with effect from May 1, 2018.
            While stating this today, Finance Minister, Capt Abhmanyu said that Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal has approved a proposal in this regard. The decision would benefit 272 beneficiaries in the State. The annual financial liability on account of this revision would be over Rs 4.21 crore.
            Those who would be eligible for this allowance included  government employee posted against a clinical post and actually working against such a post , government employee posted against a whole time post  and government employee in whose case there is ample scope of undertaking private practice . This allowance would admissible only in such cases and circumstances where it is necessary to prohibit private practice in public interest. The sum of the pay+NPA should not exceed Rs 2, 24,550  per month. .
