Applications invited for promotion of TG teachers

Haryana Secondary Education Department has invited application from eligible Masters or Trained Graduate Teachers for promotion to the post of Lecturer or Post Graduate Teachers up to February 25.
          While stating this here today, a spokesman of department said that matter pertaining to promotion for Lecturer in biology, chemistry, economics, English, fine arts, geography, Hindi, history, home science, mathematics, music, physical education, physics, political science, psychology, Punjabi, Sanskrit, sociology and urdu from the cadre of master or TGT are under consideration. The masters or TGTs who are eligible as on January 1, 2014 can apply for the same.  Deputy Director, Lecturer, Secondary Education Department Mr H. S. Saini has been made the nodal officer for receiving cases in this regard 
SCRUTINIZING DOCUMENTS: Haryana Secondary Education Department has  decided to scrutinize the documents of newly selected Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) of English, Hindi and Economics subjects from  February 14 to 17 and have constituted 15 Committees for this purpose.
          While stating this here today, Director General, Secondary Education Mr. Chander Shekhar said that documents of PGT English would be verified on February 14 and documents of PGT Hindi would be scrutinized on February 15. Similarly, verification of documents for the post of PGT Economics would be done on February 17, 2014.
          He said that documents of all selected candidates would be verified by respective Chairman of the committees at Shiksha Sadan, DIET building, and various government schools in Panchkula. 
PANEL CONSTITUTED: The Haryana Government has constituted a committee for implementation of Lokpal and Lokayukta Act 2013 under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary.
          The Committee will submit its recommendations within a period of two months to suggest any amendments, if required in the Lokayukta Act 2002. Other members of the committee are Additional Chief Secretary Home Department and Advocate General, Haryana.
HOLIDAY ON FEB 23 IN SAMPLA: In view of the Municipal General Elections to Municipal Committee, Sampla, February 23, 2014 has been declared as a holiday for the adult workers of all the factories situated in the area of Sampla to enable them to exercise their franchise.
          While stating this here today, a spokesman of Labour Department said that the order has been issued under the Factories Act 1948. No adult worker working in the factories will be required or allowed to work on Feb 23, 2014 in the area falling under Municipal Committee, Sampla in view of the Municipal General Elections on that day.
GURU RAVIDASS JAYANTI: Haryana Chief Minister  Bhupinder Singh Hooda will be the chief guest in a function to celebrate Guru Ravidass Jayanti  at  Guru Ravidass Maha Sabha, Sector-20, Chandigarh on February 14.
          While stating this here today, Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Minister Mrs. Geeta Bhukkal said that Guru Ravidass propagated the message of brotherhood and tolerance and his teachings are relevant even today. Guruji’s life was an inspiration for everyone to work for equality. Following the path shown by him, Haryana Government is implementing various schemes and programmes for the welfare of poor people in the state.
          Mrs. Bhukkal urged the people to follow the high ideals of Guru Ravidass and work for welfare of the poor and downtrodden and bring them to the mainstream of the society.
