1277 apear for SPAT in Haryana

As many as 1,277 sportspersons took Sports and Physical Aptitude Test (SPAT) today under Sports Talent Hunt programme initiated by the Sports and Youth Affairs Department, Haryana.
Giving details of the sportspersons who took SPAT today, a spokesman of the Department said that 207 sportspersons including 53 girls under 17 years took this test at Panchkula, whereas 273 sportspersons including 51 girls under 13 years participated in this test at Rohtak, 338 sportspersons including 98 girls in the age group of 18 to 19 years at Gurgaon and 459 sportspersons including 48 girls under 14 years at Bhiwani.
It may be mentioned that the Haryana Government has launched a Sports Talent Hunt programme in the State to identify and promote the sportspersons in the age group of 8-19 years. Under the programme, SPAT had been conducted at different places in the State since April 15.
