HUDA to float 13,000 residential plots

Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) would float about 13 thousand residential plots in Faridabad, Hisar, Palwal, Jhajjar, Pataudi, Rewari, Fatehabad, Hansi, Kaithal, Rohtak and Sonipat, besides 92.4 acres of land for Group Housing in year 2010-11 as per the new Group Housing Schemes of HUDA. This was disclosed by the Chief Minister, Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda after presiding over the 103rd meeting of HUDA at Chandigarh on Wednesday.
Mr Hooda announced that underground electricity lines would be provided in all new HUDA sectors. He said that the meeting passed the budget of Rs 3,553.72 crore including Rs 1,043 crore for carrying out different development works. As many as 12,097 plots will be offered to the allottees during the current year. The plots would be floated in urban estates of Sector-75 and 80 of Faridabad; Sector-12 of Palwal; new urban estate at Pataudi; Sector-19 of Rewari; Sector-3 of Fatehabad; Sector-1 of Hisar; Sector-5 and 6 of Hansi; Mandi Township Guhla; Sector-21 of Kaithal; Sector-9 of Jhajjar; Sector-5, 6 and 27 of Rohtak and Sector-18 and 19 of Sonipat.
Mr Hooda said that two per cent of total commercial sites designated as kiosks and booths in shopping centres of HUDA would be reserved for the persons with disabilities. Such sites would be allotted on the reserve price fixed by HUDA. Preference shall also be given by HUDA in allotment of institutional sites earmarked as social and charitable sites to the organisations constituted with the persons with disabilities in case of ten per cent of the advertised sites. The persons with disabilities will also be given ten per cent concession in the fee prescribed for membership of Gymkhana Clubs and sports facilities developed by HUDA.
HUDA has also decided to grant two years additional extension beyond 15 years to war widows, freedom fighters for completing construction on their plots.
Master road from Sector-58 to Sector-67, Gurgaon, the second unit of 30 MLD Sewerage Treatment Plant at Panchkula and periphery road would be constructed at Pinjore. This decision was taken in its 29th meeting of Sub Committee for Works, purchase and pricing, estimates of Rs 610 crore were approved.
The estimates include laying of conveyance main from Kaushalya dam to Sector-1, Water Works, Panchkula, external master sewerage scheme and sewerage treatment plant at Bahadurgarh, second water works at village Chandu Budhera, Gurgaon, construction of internal roads in Sector-18, Rewari and street lighting in Rajiv Gandhi Education City, Sonipat.
