Haryana Jr and Sub-Jr Chess at Gurgaon

The XV Haryana State Junior and Sub Junior Chess Championship for boys and girls will be organized by District Chess Association Gurgaon under the aegis of the Haryana Chess Association from April 10 to 12 at CCA School in Sector4 in Gurgaon.
According to the Haryana Chess Association secretary Pradeep Gupta, Haryana players in the age group of under -7, U- 9, U- 11, U-13, U- 15 and U-19 can participate in the championship.
The Haryana teams for the forthcoming 24th National Chess Championships for Under -11 Boys and Girls Chess Championship will be held at Chennai from April 27, will be selected on the basis of players performance in Gurgaon.
Organizing Secretary Naresh Sharma said that there will be a total cash prize of Rs. 24,000 in the championship. Tentatively six rounds will be played under the FIDE laws.
Normal entry fee of Rs. 100 and donor entry fee of Rs.200 will be charged in the championship. Free dormitory type accommodation will be given to all outstation players.
