Haryana planning to honour college lecturers

Haryana Education Minister  Geeta Bhukkal said that the college lecturers rendering outstanding service would be rewarded with State Awards as a scheme in this regard was being finalized on the directions of Chief Minister, Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda.
      She  made this announcement on the occasion of a plantation programme organized to mark 64th Birth Anniversary of Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda at Government Post-graduate Nehru College, Jhajjar yesterday where she also planted a sapling of ‘Kalp Vriksh’.
      She said that at present the teachers were being awarded  at school level. She described Mr. Hooda as the well-wisher of all sections of society and added that people have been immensely benefitted with various welfare policies being implemented by the State Government.
          While congratulating the students, the Minister said that they were fortunate as they were studying in a college whose foundation stone was laid by first Prime Minister of the country Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru and the former Prime Minister Mrs. Indira Gandhi had enrolled first girl student to this college. She said that state was emerging as an education hub. She said that Member of Parliament Mr. Deepender Singh Hooda was himself trying to give a new look to this college.
On this occasion, Mrs. Bhukkal also inaugurated a blood donation camp organized by Haryana State Pharmacist Association at Jhajjar.
