A sizable crowd greets QBR in Fatehabad

Queen's Baton Relay, which was led by Lt. General Raj Kadian, was given a warm welcome at Papiha Tourist Complex, Fatehabad today as it arrived from Sirsa.
      Speaking on this occasion, Agriculture Minister, Haryana  Paramvir Singh said that  a sizable crowd, standing on both sides of the route from where the Queen's Baton Relay passed, greeted the QBR. 
      He said that the Haryana Government would give cash prizes of crores of rupees to the Haryana players who win medals in these games, besides offering suitable jobs in Government Departments/Corporations. .
          Dr Ashok Tanwar, MP from Sirsa, who came along the Queen's Baton Relay, said that Indian played a vital role in bringing changes in the society. Be it the spirit of patriotism or question of national integrity, the youth had always played a leading role. 
          Earlier, thousands of people led by Chief Parliamentary Secretary, Mr Prahlad Singh Gillakhera gave a warm welcome to the Queen's Baton Relay near village Gillakhera on its entry into district Fatehabad from district Sirsa.
         Welcoming Queen's Baton Relay, Deputy Commissioner, Fatehabad, Mr Vijay Singh Dahiya said that the rural people, youth and students had given a message of unity, communal harmony and patriotism by welcoming the Queen's Baton Relay.
          Mr Balbir Singh, Commissioner, Hisar Division, Inspector General, Mr A.K. Dhull, former MP Dr. Sushil Indora, former Chief Parliamentary Secretary, Mr Dura Ram, Superintendent of Police, Mr J.S. Lamba, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mr Ashok Kumar Meena, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Mr J.K. Abhir and officers/officials of various departments and a large number of sports lovers were also present on this occasion.
