2120 teachers promoted by Elementary Education Dept

The Haryana Government has promoted 2120 teachers of Elementary Education Department to the post of Elementary Middle Heads with immediate effect.

          While stating this here today, a spokesman of Education Department said that they would now be given pay scale of Rs 9300-34800 plus Rs 4800 Grade Pay. Those who have been promoted included 1757 teachers of master cadre, 162 of C and V Hindi cadre, 26 of C and V Punjabi cadre and 175 of C and V Sanskrit cadre.

 25.20 LAKH CHILDREN ADMINISTERED POLIO
About 25.20 lakh children below five years of age were administered polio drops today in Haryana as the first national immunization round of Pulse Polio 2013 began  in all districts of the State. The polio drops were administered to the children at specially set up booths  to wipe out polio from the State. Thus, 63 per cent of the targeted children have been covered on the first day of the 3-day campaign.
