Army to conduct open recruitment rally from Feb 6

CHANDIGARH, JAN 15
The Indian Army would conduct an open recruitment rally for youth of district Bhiwani at Rajiv Gandhi Sports Complex in village Jhojhu Kalan of the district from February 6 to 9, 2016.
        While giving this information today, Director, Dadri Recruitment Office, Col. Rajesh Sharma said that this recruitment is exclusively for youth of district Bhiwani, but candidates of districts Mahendragarh and Rewari can also participate in this open rally in the military technical category. The interested candidates would have to get themselves registered through the Army website joinindianarmy.nic.in. The candidates would be allowed to enter the Rajiv Gandhi Sports Complex between 4:30 a.m. and 8 a.m., he added.
        He said that the minimum educational qualification for Soldier General Duty would be 10th pass with total 45 per cent marks in all subjects and 33 per cent in each subject. Similarly, the minimum educational qualification for Soldier Technical would be 12th pass or intermediate examination or three year engineering diploma or Science pass with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English along with total 45 per cent marks. The minimum educational qualification for Soldier Clerk and Store Keeper Technical would be 12th pass with total 50 per cent marks in all subjects and 40 per cent marks in each subject. He said that for Soldier Tradesmen, the minimum educational qualification would be 10th pass or ITI.
        He said that for Soldier General Duty, the candidate should be aged between 17 and 21 years and the date of birth should be between February 6, 1995 and August 6, 1998. Similarly, for Soldier Clerk, Store Keeper Technical, Soldier Technical and Soldier Tradesmen, the age should be between 17 and 23 years with date of birth between February 6, 1993 and August 6, 1998.
        Col. Sharma said that on February 6, recruitment of youth of tehsils Bhiwani and Tosham would be carried out for Soldier General Duty, Soldier Clerk, Store Keeper Technical and Soldier Tradesmen and recruitment would be carried out in district Mahendragarh for the Soldier Technical category. Similarly on February 7, recruitment would be carried out for youth of tehsils Bawani Khera, Siwani and Loharu for Soldier General Duty, Soldier Clerk, Store Keeper Technical and Soldier Tradesmen and recruitment for Soldier Technical category would be carried out in the entire district on the same day. He said that on February 8, recruitment would be carried for Soldier General Duty, Soldier Clerk and Store Keeper Technical for youth of tehsils Dadri and Badhada and on the same day recruitment would be carried out for Soldier Tradesmen for youth of entire district Rewari. The medical check-up would also be carried out on February 9, he added.
        He said that C-Certificate holders of NCC would be given 100 per cent marks in written examination of Soldier General Duty and Tradesmen. Apart from this, 15 marks would be given in written examination of Soldier Technical.
        Col. Sharma said that the candidates should carry all their original certificates. The wards of ex-servicemen should also carry relevant documents. Only the certificates of caste, domicile and character duly attested by Tehsildar and SDM would be considered.
        He said that youth with permanent or long-term health issues should not apply for recruitment. He also advised the candidates not to take steroids and said that the candidate’s recruitment would be cancelled if evidence of steroid or drug use is found during medical examination.
