ICCC delegation meets Haryana CM

CHANDIGARH, JAN 10
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal, today met a 25-member delegation of the Indo-Canada Commerce Chamber (ICCC) led by ICCC President, Mr. Sanjay Makkar, in New Delhi. The delegation evinced keen interest in the investment industry and business activities in Haryana.
         Highlighting the similarities between India and Canada, the Chief Minister said that Haryana offers favourable conditions for development of industries due to its proximity to an international airport and unique location, which has led to the State being surrounded on three sides by the National Capital Region, and invited leading businessmen of Canada to invest in the State.
         The Chief Minister also invited the ICCC delegation for the ‘Happening Haryana Global Investors’ Summit-2016’ to be organised in Gurgaon on March 7 and 8, 2016.
He also released the ‘India Mission-2016’ booklet with the Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce trade delegation, which included Toronto Chief, Dr. Azad Kaushik, Former Delhi MLA, Mr. Vijay Jolly, renowned diamond trader, Mr. Prakash Singh Chauhan, Mr. Alok P. Chauhan, Mr. R. Goswami, MPP and Member of the Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs, Mr. Victor Fedeli, MPP and Vice-Chair, Standing Committee on Public Accounts, Ms. Lisa MacLeod, MPP and  Vice-Chair, Standing Committee on the Legislative Assembly, Mr. Jack MacLaren, and MPP and Member, Standing Committee on Social Policy, Mr. Norm Miller.
OSD to Chief Minister, Mr. Jawahar Yadav, OSD to Chief Minister (Media), Mr. Raj Kumar Bhardwaj, Media Adviser to Chief Minister, Mr. Amit Arya, and Resident Commissioner, Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi, Mr. Anand Mohan Sharan, were also present on the occasion.
