Haryana to set up desk in Japan

CHANDIGARH, JAN 29
The Haryana Government would set up a desk in Japan to promote trade and industry. A Japanese-speaking officer would also be appointed to interact with the Japanese investors in their own language. 
          This was stated by the Chief Minister during a meeting with the Ambassador of Japan to India, Mr. Kenji Hiramatsu, who had called on him at Haryana Bhawan in New Delhi today.
          The Chief Minister said that in order to facilitate Japanese entrepreneurs by bridging the language barrier, a call centre providing services in their language has been established in Haryana. They could now get their queries resolved in their own language through this call centre, he added.
        The Ambassador of Japan to India, Mr. Kenji Hiramatsu, said that entrepreneurs in Japan were keen to invest in Haryana. He assured the Chief Minister that his country would consider becoming a partner country for the upcoming ‘Happening Haryana Global Investors’ Summit-2016’ to be held in Gurgaon on March 8 and 9, 2016.
          Haryana Industries Minister, Capt. Abhimanyu, Managing Director, Haryana State Industries and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited, Mr. Sudhir Rajpal, Principal Resident Commissioner, Mr. Anand Mohan Sharan, Mr. Mayur Bansal from Japan, OSD to Chief Minister, Mr. Jawahar Yadav, and OSD (Media), Mr. Raj Kumar Bhardwaj, were also present in the meeting.
