Rakesh Kumar Arya promoted as DIG

CHANDIGARH, MARCH 3
The  Haryana Government has promoted IPS officer, Rakesh Kumar Arya to the rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police with immediate effect.
RE-FIXING OF PAY: In view of the judgment passed by the Supreme Court in CWP No. 16084, 2757 and 4518 filed in 1997, 1998 and 2000, respectively, the Haryana Government has directed to re-fix the pay of all the employees who were petitioners.
          The Finance Department, in a letter issued to all Heads of Departments, Divisional Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, Sub Divisional Officers (Civil) and Registrar (General), Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh, has asked them to re-fix the pay of all such employees under intimation to the Department without any delay and also ensure to make the payment of arrears to petitioners by April 15, 2017.
          As per the letter, copy of these orders is also available on the website of the Finance Department www.finhry.gov.in.
 RAIDS: Haryana Health Minister, Mr. Anil Vij has directed to conduct raids and collect the samples of packaged drinking water in bottles and glasses, especially near bus stands.
          As per the instructions issued in this regard to all Designated Officers-cum-Civil Surgeons, Food Safety Officers and the Notified Food Safety Officers-cum-Medical Officers or Incharge of Sub Divisional Hospitals and Senior Medical Officers or Incharge of Community Health Centres in the State, they have been asked to conduct raids in their respective areas and send the action taken report within seven days to the office of Commissioner, Food and Drugs Administration.
