Haryana CM assures water supply in every house in next five years

 CHANDIGARH, AUG 28
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that water supply would be ensured in every household in the State during the next five years and the State Government has already started working in this direction.
           Mr Manohar Lal was addressing the people of village Ghata, Sikanderpur and Sukhrali of Gurugram Assembly Constituency during his Jan Ashirwad Yatra today.
           He said that after the formation of BJP Government in the State in 2014, we have served the people to provide the benefits upto the grass root level and worked for the welfare of all sections of the society. On the comment made by his political opponents terming him as inexperienced, Mr Manohar Lal said that he has plenty of experience in serving the people whereas some people have the experience of “Loot and Khasoot” only.
           The Chief Minister said that the 2.5 crore population of the State is his family and his aim is to make their life easy and smooth. Besides Ease of Doing Business, an arrangement of Ease of Living has been made in the State. Now, the people are not required to make frequent round of government offices as most of services have been made online and these are being made available in a fixed time frame, he added.
           He said that youth in the State are being provided government jobs on merit basis. As the government jobs are limited, youth are being imparted skill training so as to make them employable in industrial sector. He said that in view of the overwhelming response of the people which he is getting during the Jan Ashirwad Yatra, he is quite hopeful that the people would give us a chance to serve them for second consecutive term also.
         Among those present on this occasion included Public Works (Building and Roads) Minister Rao Narbir Singh, BJP State President Mr Subhash Barala, Mayor Madhu Azad, former Chairman of Haryana Housing Board Mr Jawahar Yadav, BJP leader Mr Samay Singh Bhati and other dignitaries.
Meanwhile  Mr Manohar Lal inaugurated and laid foundation stone of various development project worth about Rs 53 crore in Gurugram during his Jan Ashirwad Yatra today.
           The Chief Minister started his Jan Ashirwad Yatra with the inauguration and laying foundation stone of eight development projects in the premises of PWD Rest House, Gurugram. He inaugurated four development projects costing about Rs 23 crore and laid foundation stone of four projects at a cost of about Rs 30 crore.
           The projects which have been inaugurated by the Chief Minister included 10 lane synthetic track constructed at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, sector 38 by Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) at a cost of about Rs 7.75 crore, Camera Museum at village Chakarpur constructed by Municipal Corporation Gurugram at a cost of about Rs 8.7 crore, Boosting Station set up at Subhash  Nagar by Municipal Corporation at a cost of about Rs 6 crore and Panchayat Bhawan and Community Centre constructed in village Kukrola at a cost of about Rs one crore by Haryana CSR Advisory Board with the assistance of CSR fund of Power Grid Corporation of India. With the setting up of Boosting Station in Subhash Nagar, adequate supply of drinking water would be made available to people residing in Bheem Nagar, Ashok Puri, Ratan Garden, Shiv Puri, Subhash Nagar and Jaikabpura.
           Mr Manohar Lal also laid the foundation stone of four projects. These included renovation of reservoir of GMDA in village Sikandarpur at a cost of about Rs 15 crore, renovation of reservoir project in village Vazirabad at a cost of about Rs 5 crore, upgradation of road, sewer line and storm water drainage infrastructure in South City Phase-I of Municipal Corporation Gurugram at a cost of about Rs 6.75 crore and setting up of Boosting Station and other water supply  projects of Municipal Corporation Gurugram in Lakshman Vihar area  at a cost of about Rs 3 crore to make available canal based drinking water supply facility to the people of the area.
           Among those present on this occasion included Public Works (Building and Roads) Minister Rao Narbir Singh, MLAs namely Mr Umesh Agarwal and Mr Tejpal Tanwar, Mayor Madhu Azad and other dignitaries.
