Haryana considering running metro between Faridabad and Gurugram

CHANDIGARH, AUG 28
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that the State Government is considering running metro between Faridabad and Gurugram. The intercity bus service which has been started between Faridabad and Gurugram today would provide economical and accessible transportation facility to the people, he added.
           Mr Manohar Lal was addressing the people of Badkhal and Faridabad NIT during his Jan Ashirwad Yatra today. He said that the State Government has left no stone unturned in carrying out development in all parts of the State. He said that while medical facility upto Rs 5 lakh is being made available to the poor families under the Ayushman Bharat - National Health Protection Scheme, each poor household has been provided LPG cylinder under the Ujjawala scheme thereby made their life more easy and comfortable.
           He said that earlier people were not getting adequate ration under the Public Distribution System (PDS) but now with the introduction of online system, they are getting full quota of their ration. The present online system has also put a complete check on the corruption in the entire process, he added.
           The Chief Minister said that the State Government is committed to maintain law and order situation in the State and for this, strict action is being taken against the criminals. Recently the Haryana Police has succeeded in arresting a gangster involved in the murder of a political leader in Faridabad. He said that the present State Government has also provided basic amenities in different illegal colonies of Faridabad so that the people could get facilities at par with the regularized colonies.
           Mr Manohar Lal said that people of the State elected the BJP Government in year 2014 and we also worked with  more transparency and  undertaken development works keeping in view the requirement of people. Our performance of these five years has been outstanding and the pace of development in the State would be further accelerated in the next five years.
           The Chief Minister also took this opportunity to invite people for the Rohtak Rally to be addressed by Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi on September 8, 2019. Earlier, during the Yatra, various organizations of Faridabad and people of Sant Samaj showered blessings on Mr Manohar Lal.
           Speaking on this occasion, BJP State President Mr Subhash Barala said that Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi would address a massive rally in Rohtak on September 8, 2019. He asked the people to reach in maximum numbers in the rally.  He said that by abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi has scripted a new history and has also realized one nation, one legislation and one symbol.
          Among those present on this occasion included Union Minister Mr Krishan Pal Gurjar, MLA Mrs Seema Trikha, former Cricketer Mr Chetan Sharma and other distinguished personalities.
