Honorarium of PRT/JBT teachers working on ad hoc basis enhanced

CHANDIGARH, AUG 2  
The Haryana Government has enhanced the honorarium of PRT/JBT teachers working on ad hoc basis from Rs 21,715 per month to Rs 26,000 per month. Now the PRT/JBT teachers working on adhoc will be getting the same remuneration at par with the guest JBT‘s working in the state.
          While stating this here today, Finance Minister, Capt Abhimanyu said that this decision will benefit 2189 teachers and it will involve financial implication of Rs 11.26 crore annually.
          He said that the Government had decided to appoint the lower merit candidates and Guest Teachers on Adhoc basis on the post of PRT/ JBT at fixed honorarium of Rs 21,715. On December 7, 2017 and February 10, 2018, a total 1259 and 930 candidates respectively (in total 2189) were offered appointment on adhoc basis.
          It is pertinent to mention that the fixed remuneration of guest JBT teachers was revised from Rs.21,715 to Rs.26,000 from August 1, 2018.
ADDITIONAL CHARGE: The Haryana Government has given Sunil Kumar Gulati, Chairman, Haryana Minerals Limited, New Delhi and Additional Chief Secretary, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Department, the additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Fisheries Department, with immediate effect.
128 HOSPITALS REGISTERED UNDER CIA:  As many as 128 hospitals have so far been provisionally registered under the Clinical Institutional Act, which was implemented in the state in March 2018.
         This written statement of Health Minister, Mr Anil Vij was laid on the table of Haryana Vidhan Sabha during the first day of monsoon session here today. Out of the total registered hospitals, 40 are government and 88 private hospitals.
       One State Level and 22 District Level Authorities have been constituted under the Act for its better implementation and the Act is applicable on all Clinical establishments having more than 50 beds. All the Clinical Establishments in Government and private sector following Allopathic or AYUSH systems of medicine are covered under the Act.
        All Medical Diagnostic Laboratories have also been included under the purview of the Act. This Act was passed in the Vidhan Sabha in March 2018, after which it became effective in the state.
SEVEN POSTS OF DOCTORS VACANT IN GOHANA:  Only seven of the total 40 sanctioned posts of doctors in the Civil Hospital Gohana and 9 Primary Health Centres in Gohana Constituency are vacant. These seven posts are likely to be filled after the recruitment process.
        This written statement of Health Minister, Mr Anil Vij was laid on the table of Haryana Vidhan Sabha during first day of monsoon session here today.    A total of 29 posts of medical officers are sanctioned in Gohana constituency, of which 24 doctors have been deployed. These vacant posts comprise of three posts of Medical Officers at Civil Hospital Gohana and one post each of Medical Officer at Primary Health Centres, Khanpur Kalan, Moi Majri, Mahra and Saragthal. Apart from this, two additional posts are also filled up.
       A total of 11 posts of the dental surgeons are sanctioned, of which nine dentist have been posted. Out of these, one dentist each has been posted in the primary health centre of Moi Mahra and Saragthal.
ILLEGAL PISTOLS SEIZED:  After tightening the noose on drug-peddlers, Haryana Police has arrested two persons of Uttar Pradesh and seized six illegal pistols from their possession in district Fatehabad.
          While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Police Department said that arrested accused have been identified as Asif and Noor Mohammad alias Bura, both resident of Pansariyan, district Shamli, Uttar Pradesh. Accused were arrested from near Dhamtan Sahib, Power House, Tohana by a team of Anti-Narcotic Cell during patrolling.
          Divulging the details, he said that Police team during patrolling between Bhuna-Kulan and village Kanheri spotted two suspicious persons one of them carrying a bag. After seeing police, both accused tried to escape. Police team immediately swung into action and nabbed the duo. When searched, five pistols 315 bore were seized from bag with Asif, whereas one pistol 315 bore recovered from Noor Mohammad.
          A case under the Arms Act has been registered against the accused in City Police Station, Tohana. Both will be taken on remand by producing in the Court to ascertain the source of illegal weapons and where to be supplied.
