220 teachers participate in the 3rd ShemEMPOWER Residential Training Programme

SHEMFORD Group of Schools organized its 3rd ShemEMPOWER Residential Training Programme, one of the largest teachers training programmes in India, where as many as 220 teachers participated from across the length and breadth of the country. This distinctive training lasted for four days with an aim to equip teachers with the ability to make learning creative, interactive and engaging for the students. The session was structured from 23rd June to 26th June 2012, at Pinjore under the supervision of Mrs. Meenal Arora, Founder Director, SHEMFORD Group of Schools,with an aim to understand ShemEduMAXTM curriculum &school system. Over 30 School Trustees also attended the Leadership Conclave on School Management and CBSE Affiliation.
Apart from explaining the concept of ShemEduMAXTM curriculum & school system, this comprehensive and rigorous Teachers Training Programme familiarized the SHEMFORD Teachers with Classroom Management, Lesson Planning &Design, Dynamics of Phonics & Writing, Parent Management and Techniques of Assessment. Also, they were updated about the teaching philosophy and the latest trends in the field of education.

The School Heads who were invited to the training were delighted to interact with the Management and considered it a fruitful session. Apart from empowering the teachers, SHEMFORD Management also organized a Leadership Conclave to keep the School Trustees harnessed with Quality Management and CBSE Affiliation. The administration of management related module was undertaken by Mr. Amol Arora, Vice Chairman &Managing Director, SHEMFORD Group of Schools. The modules covered educational leadership, marketing trends, quality management &behaviour and conduct. The module also explained their unique in-house system ShemFAST – Families and School Together –which is developed with a view to make communication between Parents and school much easier and simpler.
The training session also invited various vendors to demonstrate their products on the ground. On the occasion, Mr Amol Arora, Vice-Chairman & Managing Director, SHEMFORD Group of Schools marked the importance of technology and marketing tools. He said, “In this competitive era, one needs to grow and update self with proper planned strategies and methods to survive. We are focused to equip our school trustees with the latest trends so that they are known to the world. Also, we wished to acquaint them with the advanced educational products so that they help us maintain the SHEMFORDs unique and special way of teaching.School Trustees also had their best time involved in these modules. It was an enriching experience for us as well. We have been devising a lot of strategies but now we have got new and innovative ideas to administer our schools successfully.”
