News power schedule for Ambala district

CHANDIGARH, JUNE 20
 Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) has released new schedule of power supply for district Ambala with effect from June 20.
While stating this today, a spokesman of UHBVN said that in urban areas the daily supply of power would be for 20 hours. He said that as per the prescribed schedule, the power cut would be observed between  8  a.m. and 10 a.m. and  from 2 p.m. to 4.p.m. He said that rural agricultural feeders  would be given power supply in three phases for eight hours from 5 p.m. to 1a.m from 1a.m. to 9 a.m. and  from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
He said that industrial areas would be given power supply from 12.30 a.m.  to 6.30 p.m.  and  the power for industrial works has been prohibited during peak hours from 6.30 p.m. to 10 p.m.  During the same period, the industrialist could use only  five per  cent of the fixed load for lighting purpose.
