Haryana Education Dept to fill 5548 posts through promotion

 Haryana Elementary Education Department has created 5548 posts of middle head , elementary school, which will be filled up through promotion.
         While stating this here today, a spokesman of the department said that out of the total number of posts, 85 per cent would be filled up by Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), seven per cent each by Hindi and Sanskrit teachers and one per cent by Punjabi teachers.
         He said that for these posts academic qualifications would be decided as per service norms. For this, the candidates should have a minimum qualification of B.A, B.Sc and two year diploma in elementary education or B.A or B.Sc with at least 50 per cent marks and one year B.Ed or B.A or B.Sc with 45 per cent marks and one year B.Ed obtained as per the regulations issued by National Teacher Education Council in this regard or higher secondary or its equivalent with at least 50 per cent marks and four year B.El.Ed in elementary education or higher secondary or its equivalent with at least 50 per cent marks and four year B.A.Ed or B.A or B.Sc with at least 50 per cent marks and one year B.Ed (special education).
         He said that the candidates must have five year experience as Hindi teacher or Punjabi teacher or Sanskrit teacher or TGT. He said that as per the reservation policy of the government for these posts, 20 per cent posts have been reserved for the members  belonging to Scheduled Castes.
