Four-lane Hisar-Dabwali NH-9 project stars

 Work on Rs 1500 crore project to four- lane National Highway No. 9 from Hisar to Dabwali in district Sirsa of Haryana has been started and all the bridges located on this national highway would be widened and a 4-lane bye-pass would also be constructed in Sirsa city.
This was stated by Dr K.V.Singh, Officer on Special Duty (Media) to Haryana Chief Minister today.
          He said that  approval has also been sought for construction of a Rs 65 crore railway over bridge  at Dabwali  and by the month of November, all the procedures regarding opening of tenders would be completed. This  Railway Over Bridge (ROB) would be completed within a period of 18 months. He said that with the construction of this ROB, the long standing demandof the people would be fulfilled and it would connect Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan.He said that Haryana Chief Minister Mr Bhupinder SinghHooda   would lay the foundation stone of this ROB in the  month of December.
He said that Public Works (Building and Roads) Department and Haryana Agricultural Marketing Board  would complete the work of repair of roads in district Sirsa. The work to repair Dabwali Sangriya road costing Rs 39 crore is in its last phase. He said that Rs 11 crore have been spent on the construction of Kalanwali to Sahuwala  road via Baragudha.
