Haryana Governor Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki administered the oath of office and secrecy to Dr. Kulbir Chhikkara and Dr. Vandana Sharma, both academicians, as members of Haryana Public Service Commission at a simple and impressive ceremony at Haryana Raj Bhavan here today. They took the oath in Hindi.
The function was attended by Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal, his cabinet colleagues including Education Minister Mr. Ram Bilas Sharma, Health Minister Mr. Anil Vij, MP Mr Ratan Lal Kataria, senior officers of Haryana Government and prominent personalities of the state.
Dr. Kulbir Chhikkara M.A., Ph. D. English Literature and M.A. (Mass Communication), was born at village Juan, district Sonipat. He served as Lecturer in the Department of English Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra for over a decade. At present he was serving as Chief Editor of Hari Bhoomi group of Newspaper.
Dr. Vandana Sharma M.A., Ph. D. Political Science worked as an Associate Professor for 21 years at SGPG Mahila Mahavidhyalaya, Narwana.
