Three HCS officers transferred; 4 Superintendents promoted in Haryana

CHANDIGARH, DEC 9
The Haryana Government has issued transfer and posting orders of three HCS officers with immediate effect. Besides, four Superintendents of Haryana Civil Secretariat have been promoted as officiating Under Secretaries on temporary basis.
Among the HCS officers, Mrs. Pratima Chaudhary, Additional Director (Admn.), Secondary Education and Additional Secretary, School Education Department has been posted as City Magistrate, Ambala against a vacant post.
Vivek Kalia, Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Gurugram has been given additional charge of Estate Officer, HUDA-I, Gurugram, vice Sanjiv Kumar.
Sanjiv Kumar, Estate Officer, HUDA-I, Gurugram has been posted as Estate Officer, HUDA-II, Gurugram, vice Tarun Kumar Pawaria, whose posting orders would be issued later.
Those Superintendents who have been promoted as Under Secretaries included Naresh Kumar of GS-I Branch, Mrs. Manjit Kaur of Ways and Means Branch, Kumari Karuna Sharma of Printing and Stationery Branch and Dinesh Kumar of Training Branch.
RS  10 LAKH NEW CURRENCY NOTES RECOVERED:  The Haryana Police has recovered Rs 10 lakh in new currency notes of Rs 2,000, from two persons in Gurugram.
        While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Police Department said that a team recovered the currency notes from two persons riding a two-wheeler during checking near village Islampur, district Gurugram.
        He said that on being enquired about the money, they failed to reply satisfactorily. The currency notes were seized, and the Income Tax Department informed for further action.
        Meanwhile, the police also arrested one person with 361 boxes of illicit English and country-made liquor. The accused, who was identified as Mohan, a resident of Ditaur, district Rohtak, was arrested at a naka near Atul Kataria Chowk, Gurugram. A case in this regard was registered at police station in Sector-18 and further investigation is underway, he added.
