Chandigarh, July 5
With a view to filling the vacancies of Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) in various subjects, the Haryana Secondary Education Department would send requisition for filling 8,056 such posts to the Haryana Staff Selection Commission.
While stating this here today, Education Minister, Mr. Ram Bilas Sharma, said that Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal, had approved a proposal to this effect.
He said that these vacancies included 136 of Mewat Cadre and 7,920 in the rest of Haryana.
He said that as teacher availability was a key factor in improving quality of education in government schools, the Haryana Government was committed towards filling the existing and projected vacancies of PGTs in the State by March, 2018.
GPF STATEMENTS UPLOADED ON WEBSITE: The annual General Provident Fund (GPF) statements of Haryana Government employees and Haryana cadre AIS officers, for the year 2016-17 have been uploaded on the official website www.aghry.nic.in.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of office of Principal Accountant General (A and E) said that all the subscribers can download their GPF statements by using their PIN and password.
He said that the subscribers who have changed or forgotten their PIN should click on the forget password and follow the subsequent steps as promoted to complete the log in process. He said that Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) can also download the GPF statements from the link provided to the DDO in the state application by using the DDO code provided to them for drawing salary through state module.
