CM distributes fruits tp patients on his 62nd birthday

CHANDIGARH, MAY 5
 Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal today celebrated his 62nd birthday in a very simple way. He visited the Civil Hospital in Panchkula, near here, and distributed fruits among the patients   and wished them speedy recovery. He also visited Government Senior Secondary School, Mandhana in district Panchkula and distributed school uniforms among the students. He also shared mid day meal with them.
          The Chief Minister was accompanied by MLA Kalka, Mrs Latika Sharma, Chairaman Zila Parishad, Mrs Ritu Singla, Vice-Chairman Mrs Babli Sharma and senior officers of district administration who also greeted him on his birthday today.
          On the request of MLA Kalka Mrs Latika Sharma, the Chief Minister said that the issues of construction of Shyamla and Damrala dams over river Ghaggar would be taken up with the Punjab Government.
          The Chief Minister said that Shivalik region is an important part of Panchkula and it would be the priority of the State Government to get various development works undertaken here through the Shivalik Development Board. He said that this area also has ample opportunities for development of eco-tourism and herbal medicines.
