e-auction for grant of mining contracts

CHANDIGARH, JULY 6
The Haryana Government has decided to conduct e-auction for grant of mining contracts of boulder, gravel and sand mining blocks in Ambala and Panchkula districts.
          While stating this here today, a spokesman of Mines and Geology Department said that a total of eight blocks would be auctioned in district Ambala and 12 blocks in district Panchkula. The e-auction will commence on August 2 at 9 a.m. and the bidding process would close on August 3, 2016 by 12 noon.
          He said that the blocks to be auctioned in district Ambala included Ganni Khera, Gazipur, Jatwar, Kheri Jattan, Ramgarh Sarifpur, Manglai, Kharu Khera and Dadyana. Similarly, in district Panchkula, blocks of Karanpur, Charnia, Basawal, Kot, Rattewali, Shamtoo-1, Shamtoo-2, Sukhdarshanpur, Khatauli, Naggal, Natwal and Manak Tabra would be auctioned. All these blocks would be auctioned. These blocks would be auctioned for a period ranging from seven to 10 years. The maximum period of 10 years would be for blocks of Kheri Jattan in district Ambala and Shamtoo-2 in district Panchkula.
          The last date for deposition and verification of e-service fee or earnest money and uploading of documents would be July 29. The initial bid security amount would have to be deposited by August 4.
          He said that the bidders can download the auction notice or documents from the portal https://haryanaeprocurement.gov.in or from the Haryana Government website www.haryana.gov.in or can also be obtained from the office of concerned Mining Officer or Director General, Mines and Geology, Chandigarh.
          He said that bidders would have to pay earnest money deposit fee and e-service fee of Rs 1,000 online by using the service of secure electronic payment gateway. The procedure for participation in the e-auction has been mentioned in the detailed auction notice, he added.
