Seminar on “Gurgaon Development Authority"

Chandigarh, July 6-
 A seminar on “Gurgaon Development Authority” will be organised by Haryana Institute of Public Administration (HIPA) Gurgaon on July 7. The seminar will have three sessions and well-known jurists and experts associated with external development would participate in it.
          While giving this information today, HIPA, Director, Mr S. P. Gupta said that Union Minister of State for Statistics and Programme Implementation, Planning and Defence, Rao Inderjit Singh would inaugurate the seminar. MLA Gurgaon, Mr Umesh Aggarwal and MLA Pataudi, Mrs Bimla Chaudhary would also be present. 
          He said that Public Works (Building and Roads) Minister Rao Narbir Singh would preside over the concluding session. MLA Sohna, Mr  Tejpal Tanwar and former Officer on Special Duty to Chief Minister and Haryana Housing Board, Chairman,  Mr Jawahar Yadav  would also be present on the occasion.
          Mr Gupta said that the seminar would have three different sessions which would mainly include legal prospects and size, format and scope of Authority and functions and powers.
          He said that constitutional expert, Dr. Subhash C. Kashyap, Senior Advocate, Dr Surat Singh, former Commissioner of Delhi Development Authority, Mr Kuldeep Wahi and representative of office of Attorney General office bearers of Residents Welfare Association (RWA) would also  attend the seminar.
          He said that Gurgaon Citizens Council (GCC), Joint Action Forum of Residents Association, Federation of Residents Welfare Association, Mayor of Municipal Corporation, Councilors and representatives of District Council, and of Gurgaon Industrial Association, DLF Residents Welfare Association, political parties, social organizations and other organizations and environmental activists have been invited in the seminar.
          He said that based on the details of the discussions to be held in the seminar a draft would be prepared under the supervision of 10 to 12 subject experts which would be later sent to the State Government, he added.
