Five Cooperative Sugar Mills of Haryana have been selected for various efficiency awards for the year 2016-17 by the National Federation of Cooperative Sugar Factories Ltd.
While stating this here today, Minister of State for Cooperation, Mr Manish Kumar Grover said that Shahbad Cooperative Sugar Mills has been awarded the Best Cooperative Sugar Factory (in the other Recovery Area). Karnal Cooperative Sugar Mills got first prize for cane development, whereas Panipat Cooperative Sugar Mills has been awarded second prize for cane development.
He said that HAFED Sugar Mill Assandh bagged first prize for financial management, whereas Kaithal Cooperative Sugar Mills has been awarded second prize for technical efficiency. These awards would be given on September 27, 2017.
ADDITIONAL CHARGE: The Haryana Government has given Sanjay Kumar, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Security, the additional charge of IGP, Traffic, Karnal, with immediate effect.
