CM lays foundation stone for Khadri PHC

CHANDIGARH, SEPT 23: 
Haryana Chief Minister  Manohar Lal laid the foundation stone of Primary Health Centre (PHC) in village Khadri, district Yamunanagar and announced to undertake development works to the tune of Rs 1.22 crore in the village. The village Khadri has been adopted by Member of Parliament, Mr Ratan Lal Kataria under the Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojna.
             The Chief Minister said that this PHC would not only provide health facilities to the people of village Khadri but also to other adjoining villages. The PHC would be constructed over 2.16 acres at a cost of over Rs 2.32 crore.
            While describing the area as akin to his home and constituency, the Chief Minister said that he had spent six years of his 37 years of active social life in this area. He asked the village Panchayat to send development works worth Rs 51 lakh to the government through MLA Jagadhari and Speaker, Vidhan Sabha Mr Kanwar Pal and of Rs 50 lakh through Member of Parliament Mr Ratan Lal Kataria. The government would undertake these development works on priority basis, he added.
            The Chief Minister said that he has always accepted the demand put forth by Mr Kanwar Pal in the interest of the area. He assured that all the demands which he raised today would also be examined and fulfilled.
            Speaking on this occasion, Member of Parliament Mr Ratan Lal Kataria was all praise of the Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal saying that he has made the country proud not only in the country but in abroad also. Mr Kataria said that he is an MP and no single day is passed in the parliament when the Chief Minister was not praised for his achievements in the field of improving sex ratio, making the state kerosene and ODF free for online teachers transfer policy and many more. On this occasion, he announced to give Rs 21 lakh to village Khadri.
            Speaker Vidhan Sabha, Mr Kanwar Pal expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister for a carrying out various development works in Jagadhari assembly constituency. He also blamed the previous government for neglecting this area in terms of development.
