Haryana Vidhan Sabha unanimously passes 11 bills

CHANDIGARH, OCT 25
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that 11 Bills were passed unanimously during the three-day session of Haryana Vidhan Sabha, which concluded here today. He described the behaviour of opposition parties as inappropriate saying that both the parties were trying to compete each other to take the political mileage which also hindered the smooth functioning of the House.
           The Chief Minister was interacting with the mediapersons on the concluding day of session of Haryana Vidhan Sabha here today.
           He said that according to the Bill passed in the Vidhan Sabha; land of the farmers would be acquired through negotiation. In case a farmer refused for the land in between the project, then his land would be exchanged with another land in the same village by giving the farmer 20 per cent additional amount of collector rate. The land acquisition would be made in a transparent manner through e-Bhoomi Portal, he added. 
 
          In reply to a question, the Chief Minister said that  the State Government has made a hike of Rs 10 per quintal in the price of sugarcane. Now the farmer would get Rs 330 for each quintal of sugarcane. Apart from this, he has also announced to give Ladwa Tehsil the status of Sub Division.

           In reply to another question, the Chief Minister said that Haryana Staff Selection Commission had advertised for 55,357 various posts of Group B and C category. He said that written exam has been held for 40,860 posts and appointment letters to 13,089 candidates have been issued. Apart from this, youth were being imparted skill training through Skill Development Mission and other government departments. Also, 3.13 lakh persons have been provided employment in large, medium and small scale industries. Employment opportunities to another two lakh persons would also be provided soon, he further added.
