Departments warned for not taking proper action on complaints received on CM Window.

CHANDIGARH, SEPT 17
The Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal, has expressed discontentment with such departments as are not taking proper action on the complaints received on CM Window. He has directed the HSIDC, Industries and Commerce, Rural Development and Panchayats, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare and Urban Local Bodies Departments to hold a separate meeting on this issue.
        It was directed to suspend four officers and officials, and get registered FIRs against four others.
        This was informed by the Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Dr. Rakesh Gupta, at a meeting with nodal officers of CM Window, here today. The meeting was presided over by Dr. Gupta and OSD to Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupeshwar Dayal.
        The Chief Minister has directed that strict action would be initiated against nodal officers for not showing seriousness in addressing the complaints received on CM Window.
        Cautioning officers of the Rajya Sainik Board, Town and Country Planning and School Education Departments, he said if there is no improvement in their functioning, a separate review meeting would be held with these departments, and action would be initiated against the erring officials.
He directed the Rural Development and Panchayats, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare and Urban Local Bodies Departments to promptly redress the complaints received on CM Window. As these departments are directly linked with people, officers should address the complaints pertaining to these departments at the earliest.
        Dr. Gupta said that the Chief Minister had sent a written communication to the Additional Chief Secretary, Cooperative Department, on a complaint received on CM Window of embezzlement in cooperative societies in Panipat. He directed registration of an FIR against Senior Accountant of Karnal in a case of Social Justice and Empowerment Department.
        Dr. Gupta said orders had been issued suspending Akashdeep, ADA of Horticulture Department, and Dilbag Singh, Inspector, State Vigilance Bureau, in a case of embezzlement of Rs 7 crore received in the form of subsidy for installation of fountain and underground pipeline by the Horticulture Department in Nuh district.
        Apart from this, the Additional Chief Secretary, Vigilance Department, would investigate the role of DSP in this matter and Superintendent of Police, Nuh, would investigate regarding who had submitted the wrong report.
        At the meeting, directions were issued to charge-sheet and suspend Rakesh Kumar, Accountant of Power Department posted in Rewari, in the matter of harassing a consumer and overcharging. Apart from this, directions were issued to suspend Pradeep, Assistant Environment Engineer, for causing delay and misguiding others in the matter of discharge of untreated effluent through tankers of residential colonies in agricultural fields.
        The Chief Minister has asked for a report on the action taken against M/s TDI Infrastructure Private Limited.
        Disciplinary action and FIR was ordered against Babita, Assistant of School Education Department, for tampering with official records to take alimony from her husband.
        It was also directed to cancel the license of medical store and stockist of district Sonipat for charging higher rates of medicines. The District Excise and Taxation Commissioner, Ms. Suman Sandhu, and Mr. Alok Pasi have been directed to issue show-cause notice in this matter.
