A blood donation camp was organised as part of the 15-day long celebrations of 40th anniversary of Chandigarh Press Club at club premises in Sector 27 here today.
. The camp was organized in association with Department of Blood Transfusion, PGI and Rotary Club Chandigarh Central. As may as 51 members donated the blood during the occasion. Organizers felicitated with donors with the gifts and certificates. 17 donors were the first time donor who also assured their regular donations in the future to strengthen the movement.
Enthralled by the response, the club will again stage the camp during the winters. A series of more activities are scheduled to mark the celebrations which include Mango Festival, tree plantation drive, swimming competition and more.
