Haryana Cabinet will meet under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda in Chandigarh on February 20 at 4 p.m.

HOODA MOURNS DEATH OF Mrs. SHANNO DEVI

Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has expressed grief over the sad demise of  Mrs Shanno Devi, mother of Mr I.C.Sangwan, Secretary, Haryana Public Service Commission at her native village Thol in district Kurukshetra, yesterday.

          Mrs Shanno Devi, 92, had passed away after brief illness. She is survived by three sons and an equal number of daughters. Her mortal remains were consigned to flames at her native village today.

          In a condolence message issued here today, the Chief Minister prayed that the departed soul might rest in peace and he also conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family.

DEOs TO INSPECT ALL PRIVATE SCHOOLS BUILDINGS

Fatehabad Deputy Commissioner Mr. M.L. Kaushik has constituted a three-member committee to investigate the reasons behind the collapse of three storyed building of Maharaja Agarsain School in Tohana and submit the report soon. Besides, he also directed the District Education Officer to inspect all the private schools of the district and submit a report about the condition of the buildings. 

          While giving this information today, an official spokesman said that the Committee comprised of Sub Divisional Magistrate, Tohana, Executive Engineer (XEN), Public Works Department (Building and Roads) and Municipal Engineer. The team would inspect the spot and probe the reasons for the collapse of the building.  The Committee would submit its report to the office of Deputy Commissioner, he added.

          He said that the District Education Officer had also been directed to inspect all the private school buildings of the district and submit its report to the Deputy Commissioner about their actual condition.
