CHANDIGARH, FEB 9
Haryana Education Minister Geeta Bhukkal said that computer teachers are being recruited who would be given a fixed salary and the backlog of lecturers would also be completed.
Mrs Bhukkal was replying to the questions of media persons in Karnal today.
She said that although there was no dearth of funds to continue improvement in basic infrastructure of government schools, yet anyone who intended to donate voluntarily for the schools would be appreciated. Several developed countries in the world have this tradition as it benefits the students. The School Nurture Policy would bring about improvement in the schools.
In reply to another question concerning the JBT teachers, she said that the decision of the court was now known to all and she  made it clear that there was no political vendetta behind this decision. As far as the issue of the fate of job of 3206 JBT teachers was concerned, the government was seeking legal opinion.
She said that Haryana was ahead of many States to admit 25 per cent poor children under Right to Education Act. She said that the Central Government was considering a policy to check malpractice in private schools. After its implementation by the Central Government, the same would also be implemented in the States.
