Haryana to install CC TVs at crowded places

CHANDIGARH, FEB 14
  In view of the security measures and surveillance, Haryana Government has decided to install Close Circuit TV Cameras at important and crowded places in the jurisdiction of all Municipal Corporations in the State.
          While stating this here today, a spokesman of Urban Local Bodies Department said that the Police Department would control these cameras.
          He said that a written communication to this effect has been sent to Commissioners of Municipal Corporations of Faridabad, Gurgaon, Hisar, Karnal, Panipat, Ambala, Yamunanagar and Panchkula.
          He said that the work to install such cameras has already commenced by Municipal Corporation, Rohtak with the assistance of Member of Parliament Area Development Fund (Rajya Sabha).
