CHANDIGARH, MARCH 4
103 Infantry Battalion (TA) Sikh LI will carry out recruitment rally of Soldier (General Duty) and Soldier (Tradesmen) at their Unit location at GT Road, Millerganj, Ludhiana from March 25 to 29 2014 for those personnel who are domicile of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Union Territory of Chandigarh and NCT of Delhi, according to a press release issued by PIB (Defence Wing).
Recruitment. Recruitment will be carried out for Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir and UT Chandigarh on March 25 and for Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and NCT of Delhi on March 26.
Documentation and Medical examination for screened candidates are scheduled from March 27 to 29. Vacancies are available for Sol GD (General Duty) and Sol (Tdn) (Chef & House Keeper).
The conditions for enrolment are: Age 18 to 42 years. Weight (minimum) 50 kg. Chest (minimum) 77-82 cms. Height (minimum)160 Cms.
Civil Education is : General Duty10th pass with 45% of marks except and 33% marks in each subject (Dists of Lahul, Spiti and Kinnaur of (HP) for which 8th standard is minimum.
Tradesman: 10th simple pass marks. Individual should be gainfully employed. (A certificate to the effect that the individual is gainfully employed written by the employer giving out employment details is mandatory during recruitment).
