e-auctioning of hotel sites by HUDA

CHANDIGARH, SEPT 26
Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) has announced e-Auction of three or five Star Hotel site in sector 2-commercial area, in Kurukshetra  on October 7, 2016.
          While giving this information here today, an official spokesman said that the site measured 2.78 acres or 11,332 sq.mtr. It is under Hadbast No. 360 of village Pipli, beyond the limits of Municipal Council, Thanesar.
Its reserve price is Rs 5200.27 lakh. The earnest money deposit   or security amount would be   Rs 104.01 lakh.
He said that the brochure containing detailed terms and conditions of e-Auction including eligibility conditions and earnest money deposit   of the site are also available on the portal www.huda.org.in and https://haryanaeprocurement.gov.in. The intending bidders could contact Estate Officer HUDA, Kurukshetra for further information, he added.
312 CHEATING CASES REGISTERED: In a crackdown on use of unfair means in examinations, special flying squads constituted by the Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) have registered 312 cases of cheating during the first and second semester of secondary and senior secondary examinations of the Board.
          While stating this today, a spokesman of the Board said that the students were caught using unfair means during the examination of second semester of Secondary (Re-appear) in Science, and examinations of first and second semester of Senior Secondary (Re-appear) in History and Chemistry. 
          He said that while 31 students were caught by flying squads in districts Fatehabad, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Hisar, Jind, Mahendragarh, Mewat and Sonepat, 26 were caught in Hathin and Hodal, Palwal, Ferozepur Jhirka, Nuh and Narnaul. Rapid action force and other flying squads registered 99 and 156 cases, respectively, he added.
 VEHICLE DUMPING DERBIS SEIZED: A team of Municipal Corporation Gurgaon today seized a vehicle being used in dumping debris   along Faridabad road, and the person involved  was fined  Rs 5,000 for violating the orders of the National Green Tribunal. 
        While giving this information today, a spokesman of the Municipal Corporation  said that as the Senior Sanitary Inspector was inspecting zone-3 area for sanitation, he saw a person dumping construction debris at an unauthorized place and he took action promptly.
          He said that different locations have been fixed for dumping such debris. In case someone is caught committing such an offence  for the second time, he would have to pay 20 per cent more in addition to a fine of Rs 5,000. For seeking construction debris disposal services, any resident could call on the toll free number of Municipal Corporation 1800-180-1817, he added.
E-PRODUREMENT: In yet another IT initiative of the  Haryana Government, Union Minister for Food and Public Distribution Mr Ram Vilas Paswan will launch e-procurement at Karnal on September 27, 2016. The function will be presided over by Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal.
         While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that   Haryana Agriculture Minister, Mr O.P. Dhankar, Minister of State for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Mr Karan Dev Kamboj and Chairperson, Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board would also grace the occasion.
        The spokesman said that e-procurement portal had been developed jointly by Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board and Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department.
