A three-lane underpass would be constructed on HUDA City Centre-Gurgaon road to facilitate traffic light-free travel between Old Gurgaon and New Gurgaon. He said that the road between Maharana Pratap Choek and HUDA City Centre would be widened and strengthened, and service lane would be laid along both sides of National Highway No. 8. Two foot overbridges with stairs and escalators would be constructed at this intersection, along with cycle track and footpath.
He said that two-lane underpass would be constructed at Rajeev Chowk to make Gurgaon-Sohna Road signal-free. Apart from this, two-lane right-turning underpass would be constructed from Medanta Hospital towards Delhi and underpass would be constructed for pedestrians and non-motorised vehicles so that they might cross Rajeev Chowk without any hindrance.
