Award for Central Cooperative Bank, Silani

The  branch of Central Cooperative Bank, Silani in district Jhajjar has been awarded  Cooperative Excellence Award-2012 by the President of India, Mr Pranab Mukherjee  at a function organised at Rashtrapati Bhawan in  New Delhi today.
            The award was received by Chairman of the Bank, Mr Ajay Ahlawat, who called on Haryana Chief Minister Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda at his residence in New Delhi. Congratulating Mr Ajay Ahlawat, Mr Hooda said that the state government has initiated many new projects in the interest of farmers. He said that Haryana is the only state of the country, the maximum departments of which have been honoured at national level for their significant achievements.
            Mr Ajay Ahlawat said that under the able leadership of Mr Hooda, all round development of the state is taking place. He said that being a son of a farmer, Mr Hooda is well aware of the problems of the farmers and has taken various historical decisions to safeguard the interests of farmers.
