Hooda expresses shock over the death of Pt Ravi Shankar

The Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda, has expressed shock and grief over the sad demise of legendary  Sitar maestro Pt. Ravi Shankar in USA today. He was 92.
          In a condolence message issued here today, Mr Hooda said that with the passing away of music icon, who was a recipient of Bharat Ratna, an era of music has come to an end.
          Mr Hooda said that this global ambassador of Indian music would be long remembered as he had taken classical music to new heights.
          The Chief Minister also conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family and prayed that the departed soul might rest in peace.
