No grant-in-aids without submitting utilisation certificate

CHANDIGARH, DEC 22
Th Haryana Government has decided not to release grant-in-aid  to any autonomous body, Non-government Organisation or any organization or institution or Department if it has not submitted utilization certificate due for rendition, for grants-in-aid released by the State Government in respect of all schemes, programmes, projects of a department of the State Government.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of Haryana Finance Department said that these instructions have been enforced with immediate effect and any deviation from the same would require specific approval of the Finance Department.
He said that a decision to this effect had been taken as it was observed that utilization certificates were not submitted by the autonomous bodies, Non-government Organisations or other organizations or institutions or Departments   within the stipulated period and proposal for next  installment of grant-in-aid was sent to the Finance Department without sending the utilization certificate. This has been taken as a serious lapse on the part of such organizations, he added.
