In yet another employee friendly decision, Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today approved a proposal to simplify the procedure to sanction advance related to reimbursement of medical claims of government employees, pensioners and their dependents. Therefore, now the Head of Department would be authorized to sanction the advance and the medical bills up to Rs. five lakh related to the government or government approved private hospitals. Similarly, the Head of office in the district would be authorized to sanction an advance and the medical bill up to Rs. one lakh. The Administrative Secretary of the concerned Department would be authorized to sanction such bills of more than Rs five lakh.
In case of Government hospital, an advance of 90 per cent of the estimate would be allowed. Also, in case of Government approved private hospital which are allowed at the rates of the PGIMER, Chandigarh plus 75 per cent of the balance amount, an advance of 75 per cent of the estimate on non package rates and 90 per cent of the estimate on the identified package rate notified by the State Government from time to time would be allowed. In case of Government approved private hospitals, which are allowed at rates of the PGIMER, an advance of 50 per cent would be allowed because the reimbursement in such cases is less. However, 90 per cent of the amount would be allowed as advance in case of indentified package rates notified by the State Government. Other terms and conditions as mentioned in the reimbursement policy related to the advance would remain the same.
DEARNESS ALLOWANCE ENHANCED: The Haryana Government has enhanced the Dearness Allowance (DA) payable to its employees on unrevised scale of pay from the existing rate of 183 per cent to 200 per cent with effect from January 1, 2014.
The additional installment of DA payable under these orders would be paid in cash to all Haryana Government employees for the month of June 2014 paid in July 2014. The payment of arrears of enhanced Dearness Allowance for the months from January, 2014 to May, 2014 would be made in the month of July, 2014.
A notification to this effect has been issued by Finance Department here today.
RANBIR SANGWAN PROMOTED: The Government has promoted District Information and Public Relations Officer, Mr Ranbir Singh Sangwan as Deputy Director with effect from January 31, 2013.
DHUAN APPOINTED DIPRO FARIDABAD: The Government has appointed Mr Jagdeep Duhan ,Information and Public Relation Officer, New Delhi as District Information and Public Relations Officer (DIPRO), Faridabad in place of Mr Tilak Ram Assistant Information Public Relation Officer holding additional charge of DIPRO, Faridabad. Mr Tilak Ram has been shifted from Faridabad to Headquarters Chandigarh.
