In view from the Assembly Elections to be held on October 15 in Haryana, nominations of 360 candidates have been rejected today after scrutiny of the nomination papers.
While giving this information today, Chief Electoral Officer, Haryana, Mr. Shrikant Walgad said that nomination papers of total 1925 candidates were scrutinized. He said that now total 1565 candidates were remaining which included 1403 male and 162 female candidates. He said that after scrutiny, minimum of seven candidates were left in Shahbad Assembly Constituency whereas maximum of 40 candidates were left in Assandh Assembly Constituency.
Giving detailed information, Mr. Walgad said that nominations of three candidates from Kalka Assembly Constituency and five from Panchkula Assembly Constituency have been rejected. Similarly, nominations of four candidates from Naraingarh and two each from Ambala Cantonment Assembly Constituency and Ambala City Assembly Constituency have been rejected. He said that nominations of two candidates from Sadhaura Assembly Constituency, five from Jagadhari Assembly Constituency, four each from Yamunanagar Assembly Constituency and Radaur Assembly Constituency have been rejected.
He said that nominations of five candidates each from Ladwa, Shahbad and Thanesar Assembly Constituencies and four candidates from Pehowa Assembly Constituency have been rejected. Likewise, nominations of four candidates from Guhla Assembly Constituency, six each from Kalayat and Kaithal Assembly Constituencies and two from Pundri Assembly Constituency have been rejected. Nominations of four candidates each from Nilokheri and Karnal Assembly Constituencies, five from Indri Assembly Constituency, two from Gharaunda Assembly Constituency and three from Assandh Assembly Constituency have been rejected.
Nominations of five candidates from Panipat Rural Assembly Constituency, two from Panipat City Assembly Constituency, three from Israna Assembly Constituency and four from Samalkha Assembly Constituency have been rejected. Similarly, nominations of four candidates each from Ganaur, Kharkhoda and Sonepat Assembly Constituencies, six from Rai Assembly Constituency, three from Gohana Assembly Constituency and five from Baroda Assembly Constituency have been rejected.
He said that nominations of four candidates from Julana Assembly Constituency, three from Safidon Assembly Constituency, seven from Jind Assembly Constituency and three each from Uchana Kalan and Narwana Assembly Constituencies have been rejected. Nominations of three candidates from Tohana Assembly Constituency and four candidates each from Fatehabad, Ratia and Kalanwali Assembly Constituencies have been rejected. Similarly, nominations of five candidates from Dabwali Assembly Constituency, four from Rania Assembly Constituency, seven from Sirsa Assembly Constituency and three from Ellenabad Assembly Constituency have been rejected. Likewise, nominations of three candidates from Adampur Assembly Constituency, four each from Uklana and Narnaud Assembly Constituencies, seven from Hansi Assembly Constituency, five each from Barwala and Hisar Assembly Constituencies and four from Nalwa Assembly Constituency have been rejected.
He said that nomination of five candidates from Loharu Assembly Constituency, six from Badhra Assembly Constituency, five from Dadri Assembly Constituency, seven from Bhiwani Assembly Constituency, nine from Tosham Assembly Constituency and four from Bhawani Khera Assembly Constituency have been rejected. Similarly, nominations of three candidates from Mehem Assembly Constituency, five from Garhi Sampla-Kiloi Assembly Constituency, two from Rohtak Assembly Constituency, and four from Kalanaur Assembly Constituency have been rejected. Likewise, nominations of four candidates from Badli Assembly Constituency, three from Jhajjar Assembly Constituency and four from Beri Assembly Constituency have been rejected.
Mr. Walgad said that nominations of three candidates from Ateli Assembly Constituency, six from Narnaul Assembly Constituency and two from Nagal Chaudhary have been rejected. Similarly, nominations of five candidates from Bawal Assembly Constituency and four each from Kosli and Rewari Assembly Constituencies have been rejected. He said that nominations of three candidates each from Pataudi and Badshahpur Assembly Constituencies, four from Gurgaon Assembly Constituency and five from Sohna Assembly Constituency have been rejected. Likewise, nominations of three candidates from Nuh, four each from Ferozepur Jhirka and Punhana Assembly Constituencies have been rejected.
He said that nominations of four candidates from Hathin Assembly Constituency, seven from Hodal Assembly Constituency and two from Palwal Assembly Constituency have been rejected. Similarly, nominations of four candidates from Prithla Assembly Constituency, three from Faridabad NIT Assembly Constituency, five from Badhkal Assembly Constituency, seven from Ballabgarh Assembly Constituency, two from Faridabad Assembly Constituency and three from Tigaon Assembly Constituency have been rejected.
