The Haryana Government has decided to honour those brilliant and meritorious students who have brought laurels to the state with their outstanding performance in All India Examinations held in 2013 whose results have been declared in 2014 on September 9, 2014 at Red Bishop Tourist Complex, Panchkula.
While giving this information here today, an official spokesman said that the ‘Pratibha Samman Samaroh’ would be held at Red Bishop Tourist Complex, Panchkula on September 9, 2014. Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupinder Singh Hooda would be the Chief Guest on this occasion whereas Education Minister, Mrs. Geeta Bhukkal would preside over the function.
He said that candidates who have qualified Civil Services Examinations namely IAS, Indian Foreign Services, IPS, Engineering Services Examination, Indian Economic Services, Indian Statistical Service Examination and Indian Forest Services would be given cash award of Rs two lakh each. Similarly, the candidates who have qualified other services under the Civil Services Examinations Gr ‘A’ would be given cash award of Rs one lakh each and All India Topper would be given cash award of Rs five lakh.
Similarly, top five in each JEE (main) and JEE (advance), top three in each CAT, GATE, CBSE (PMT), AIIMS (PMT), CLAT, top three in National Defense Academy, Rashtriya Indian Military College and top three each in CBSE, ICSE, Haryana School Education Board (+2) (3 streams)+Matric would be given Rs one lakh each. Likewise, all candidates of International Science Olympiad Prize Winners would be given cash award of Rs one lakh each and All India Topper of any of the above examinations would be given cash award of Rs five lakh.
He said that no one will get more than one prize even if he or she becomes eligible in more than one examination in same or subsequent years. However, the candidate would have the option to choose the examination for which he wants to be rewarded. In case of services or examinations are for the recruitment, the candidate has to supply the proof of residence which could be Domicile Certificate, Resident Certificate, Passport, Ration Card, Voter I-Card as proof of residence and the certificate of qualifying service or examination. Similarly, in case the examination is for admissions to various courses, the candidates should have passed the 10+2 examination from Haryana. He said that candidates with 10+2 from Chandigarh will also be considered if they produce certificate of Residence or Domicile of Haryana of Ration Card, Passport, Voter I-Card of Haryana as proof of residence in Haryana.
All the eligible awardees should register themselves and submit proof of eligibility and service or examination at the office of the Higher Education Department on or before September 8, 2014.
