Admission schedule to classes IX, X and X plus released

CHANDIGARH, JUNE 29
Haryana Secondary Education Department has issued the schedule for admission to Classes IX, X and X plus two under Rule 134A of Haryana School Education Rules, 2003, as amended in 2013. According to this schedule, a test would be conducted at block level on July 3, 2016 for admission to private schools under Rule 134A of Haryana School Education Rules, 2003, to fill up the remaining vacant seats.
        While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Department said that the test would be conducted by a committee headed by the Additional Deputy Commissioner.
        He said that the question paper of the test in Hindi and English for Class IX would be provided by the Director, SCERT, Gurgaon and question paper for Classes X and X plus two would be supplied by Director, Secondary Education. All other arrangements would be made by the District Education Officer concerned in the district under the guidance of the Additional Deputy Commissioner.
        He said that the number of remaining vacant seats, classwise, would be declared by all private schools by June 30. Test for the students coming from private schools would be held at the block level from 9 a.m. to 12 noon on July 3. Details would be available at the offices of District Education Officers and Block Education Officers.
        He said that the draw of lots at block level would be held on July 7, 2016. Admission on the basis of draw of lots would be conducted from July 8 to 15. Second draw of lots for remaining seats, if any, would be held on July 18 and admission on the basis of second draw of lots would be conducted from July 19 to 22.
        If seats remain vacant after the second round, the schools concerned would submit their lists to the District Level Committee by July 25, he added.
He said that the merit for admission in Class X plus one    would be determined on the basis of marks obtained by them in the Board Examination of Class X.
