CHANDIGARH, JUNE 17
The Haryana Government has notified that on the occasion of International Day of Yoga on June 21,2016, the first two working hours of Tuesday, that is 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. will be observed as public holiday in all Government offices, Boards and Corporations and educational institutions under the State Government.
While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that this public holiday will also be observed in various factories, commercial establishments and shops located in the State. This holiday will also be observed in Haryana Civil Secretariat, Sector 1, Chandigarh from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. to facilitate security arrangements for Prime Minister’s visit.
He said that this order has been issued within the meaning of section 25 of Negotiable Instruments Act 1881.
ADDITIONAL CHARGE: The Haryana Government has given the additional charge of Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Yamunanagar to Mr.S.S.Phullia, Deputy Commissioner, Yamunanagar, against a vacant post.

A notification to this effect has been issued by Chief Secretary, here today.
