Ram Bilas receives IEBF Excellence Award-2016

CHANDIGARH, NOV 17
 The Indo European Business Forum has conferred the IEBF Excellence Award-2016 upon Haryana Education Minister, Mr. Ram Bilas Sharma in recognition of commendable work done by him as Education Minister of Haryana. The award was presented to him at the ‘Global Business Meet-2016’ on ‘Make in India’ organised at Lord’s Cricket Ground, London today.
       While speaking on the occasion, Mr Sharma thanked the Indo European Business Forum for recognizing his efforts to improve the education system.
  He invited the NRIs for setting up their ventures in Haryana, and said that the State Government has achieved new milestones in the field of industries. After the success of Haryana Global Investors Summit organised in Gurugram earlier this year, Haryana has become the first state in North India to attract investment on large scale. Haryana has emerged as the preferred destination of entrepreneurs for investment, he added.
        Others present on the occasion included, Managing Director, Haryana Tourism Development Corporation, Mr. Sameer Pal Srow, Founder, Indo European Business Forum, Mr. Vijay Goel, Indian Leaders of the Forum, Mr. Sunil Kumar Gupta and Mr. G.P. Hinduja.
        Earlier, a cricket match between top businessmen of India and UK was also organised. Former captain of Indian Cricket Team, Mr. Kapil Dev also played the match.
ISRAEL PRESIDENT TO VISIT  GHARAUNDA: Chandigarh Nov 17: The President of Israel, Mr Reuven Rivlin will visit Centre of Excellence for Vegetables (CEV), Gharaunda in district Karnal on November 18, 2016.
          While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that Mr Reuven would be received at the CEV by Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Mr O.P Dhankar and Principal Secretary, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Mr Abhilaksh Likhi.
          He said that Mr Reuven Rivlin would visit Nursery in High Tech Green House and  see the  Muskmelon Crop  in walk-in tunnel. Besides, he would also get an overview of Indo-Israel Projects in India and six such projects in Haryana.   
          Ambassador of Israel in India, Mr Daniel Carmon, Agriculture Counselor Mr Dan Alluf and other senior officers of the State Government would also be present on this occasion.
