Constituting separate bodies of MCs of Ambala City and Ambala Sadar

 
CHANDIGARH, JUNE 25
The Haryana Cabinet which met under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal here today, approved the proposal for constituting two separate bodies that is Municipal Corporation, Ambala City with inclusion of 12 adjoining villages and Municipal Council, Ambala Sadar with exclusion of Sadar Zone from Municipal Corporation, Ambala.
          The 12 villages which have been included in the limits of Municipal Corporation, Ambala City, included Dangdehri, Manakpur, Lohgarh, Dadiana, Devi Nagar, Nijampur, Ghel Kalan, Ghel Khurd, Kanwala, Kanwali, Kalu Majra and Liharsa.
          Similarly, the area of Ambala Sadar Zone has been excluded from the limits of existing Municipal Corporation, Ambala and such area will be declared as separate Municipal Council that is Ambala Sadar. Ambala Sadar is situated at a distance of around 10 to 12 kms from the main Municipal Corporation office at Ambala City. The Municipal Commissioner of the Corporation and all the branch heads have their offices in the main office. Apart from this, most of the villages of Ambala Sadar Zone area are situated further away from the main office. For most of their municipal works and redressal of grievances, the people of Ambala Sadar area have to visit Corporation office located at Ambala City.
          After the inclusion of these villages and exclusion of area of Ambala Sadar Zone from the limits of Municipal Corporation, Ambala, the required population of 3 lakh is completed (as provided in the proviso of section 3(2) of the Haryana Municipal Corporation Act, 1994).

HDRUA RULES: The Cabinet also approved the amendment in Rule 13 of the Haryana Development and Regulation of Urban Areas Rules 1976.
          As per the amendment, the simple interest, if chargeable, will be imposed at applicable rate on the proposed renewal license fee for the default period. The amendment intends to extend the same principle over integrated colonies and thus was also intended to have retrospective effect from March 7, 1976.

EMPLOYEES INSURANCE HEALTH CARE: The Haryana Cabinet approved the framing of Directorate of Employees State Insurance Health Care, Haryana, Group D (Field Staff), Service Rules, 2019, Group D (Head Quarter), Service Rules and framing of Directorate of Employees State Insurance Health Care Haryana ‘Directorate Ministerial’ Group ‘B’ Service Rules.
          These rules have been aligned with the Haryana Group D Employees (Recruitment and Condition of Service) Act, 2018 whereby age, academic qualifications and mode of recruitment are uniformly applicable across the departments.
          It assumes significance as the Directorate of Employees State Insurance Health Care was formed in 2007 carved out of the Health Department. Since then, the Service Rules of erstwhile Health Department were also applied to the employees of newly formed Department. The ESI Department is in final stages of formulating Service Rules for Group ‘C’ and Group ‘A’ employees.

FILLING UP OF TWO HSIIDC POSTS APPROVED: The Cabinet  accorded approval for filling up of two posts of Management Trainee/Manager (Marketing) by Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) through direct recruitment at its own level in order to meet the requirement of professionally qualified and young energetic professional.
          A selection committee headed by Chief Secretary, Chairman, HSIIDC, Managing Director, HSIIDC, Additional Chief Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department and Director of Industries and Commerce has been constituted for this purpose.
          The qualification and experience of the post of Management Trainee/Manager (Marketing) is MBA (Marketing)/equivalent.
