Haryana CM reaches office riding bicycle

CHANDIGARH, JUNE 3
 Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal today reached his office at Haryana Civil Secretariat riding a bicycle from his residence  giving a message to  the people to add cycling to their daily routine as it is the simplest and environment friendly means of transport which has many health benefits.
        While congratulating the World Cycle Day, the Chief Minister said that if people of every section of society use bicycles in their daily routine it would help in reducing the increasing environment pollution besides easing traffic congestion.  Moreover, cycling also act as good  a workout.
          He said that the government has approved the construction of cycle tracks in Faridabad, Karnal and Gurugram so that more and more people use bicycles in their daily routine. Apart from this, there is a plan to construct  cycle tracks  in Panchkula, Hisar, Rohtak.
          On this occasion Chief Minister's Media Advisor Mr. Rajiv Jain, Chairman HLRDC Mr. Ajay Gaur and other officials  also rode cycle with the Chief Minister.
ADDITIONAL CHARGE: The Haryana Government has given the additional charge of Additional Resident Commissioner, Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi, to Chander Shekhar Khare, Administrator, Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran, Gurugram, Additional Director, Urban Estate, Gurugram and Chief Executive Officer, Gurugram Metropolitan City Bus Limited, Gurugram, with immediate effect.
